We tried spreadsheets. We tried shared calendars. We tried asking in Slack. Nothing worked well. Some solutions shared too much. Others shared too little.
So we built something straightforward. A team calendar that shows what people need to know — absences, birthdays, anniversaries, company events — without oversharing private details.
It's not complicated. It's not trying to be an HR system or a payroll tool. It just answers the question: "Who's available?" And it helps us remember the moments that matter.
